Swami Nityananda, a well known godman from Tamil Nadu, has allegedly been caught on tape having a romp with popular Tamil actress Ranjitha. Swamy Nityananda is very popular among Bhakti channel viewers. He has a great fan following for his preachings on Bhagwad Geeta.
TV footage released by Sun News shows Swami Nithyananda in a compromising position with actress Ranjitha. Sun TV, the news channel that broadcasted the video, has not revealed the location where it was shot.
This video has come as a massive shock to the godman's followers, and has led to widespread protests. In Coimbatore, angry followers took to streets and vandalised property. As per local reports, the Swami's Ashram in Bidadi is also seeing similar scenes.
